Heart healthy Copycat Panera Bread oatmeal with strawberries, pecans and cinnamon crunch topping
1 cup uncooked steel cut oatmeal
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup milk of choice, I used unsweetened almond milk or nonfat dairy milk
Pinch of salt
12 strawberries, diced
1/4 cup chopped pecans
4 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
